Capricorn Highway (Duaringa–Emerald), undertake road safety improvements

The Capricorn Highway is a key freight route and supports a wide range of industries including agriculture, resources and mining. It plays an important role in connecting Rockhampton with central and western communities in Queensland.

The project will deliver approximately 3.8km of safety improvements on the Capricorn Highway between Bonnie Doon Road and Corkscrew.

The safety upgrade will include pavement widening, sealing, wide centre line treatment, audio tactile line marking and improved drainage.

Funding
