Booral Road, Bunya Creek floodway and Main Street intersection upgrade, planning
Planning is underway to improve flood immunity and safety on a section of Booral Road at Bunya Creek, including the Main Street intersection.
The Bunya Creek floodway directly west of the Main Steet intersection is frequently inundated, resulting in road closures for through traffic forcing road users to use alternate routes.
Planning will assess the current and future transport requirements at the intersection.
This project involves delivering a business case which identifies an appropriate upgrade treatment to improve safety and flood immunity for all road users.
This is a planning project only, there is no timeframe nor funding for construction.
