The department is planning upgrades to key intersections and improvements to several key state controlled sub-arterial road corridors within the Redland City Council and Brisbane City Council areas, including:
The planning projects are working to identify improvements that once funded and delivered, will ensure the corridors can accommodate the needs of all transport users.

Phase 2 consultation has commenced and the department is now seeking feedback on the proposed design options for the upgrade of the Double Jump Road and Mount Cotton Road intersection and the Taylor Road and Redland Bay Road intersection.
Phase 1 consultation closed on 12 March 2023.
Outcomes from the community consultation identified the Double Jump Road and Mount Cotton Road intersection, and the Taylor Road and Redland Bay Road intersection as the highest community concerns and priorities.
