Achievements
We engaged local governments, bicycle riders, bicycle user groups, riding groups and community influencers to better understand the habits of Queenslanders and how to encourage more people to bike ride.
We researched best practice case studies, examples of bicycle encouragement programs and projects nationally and internationally, and undertook our own market research to learn more about riders and non-riders in Queensland.
We published our findings in 2 reports:
- More Bicycle Riding More Often – Research Summary Report 2018
- Bicycle Riding Typologies for Queensland – Full Report
Next steps
We will support community driven projects to get more Queenslanders to ride a bicycle.
